No images with Dalsa Genie cam and CVB 14

Hello,

I’m struggling with a Dalsa Genie CR-Gen0-C6400 and CommonVisionBlox 14.01.010 GeniCamBrowser.

I get no images when i start the acquisition.

I have the following erreur when i launch discover :

ERROR C:\Program Files\STEMMER IMAGING\Common Vision Blox\GenICam\bin\win64_x64\TLIs\CVUSBTL.cti : Failed to update interfaces due to exception: failed to get device object info (buffer size)

The camera is detected and i get images with CamExpert 9.10

The PC operating system is win 10 Enterprise LTSC

Any ideas ?

Hi @christ ,

the error message you get during discover is related to the USB Transportlayer. As the Genie Camera is a GEV camera this is not related. Maybe you have another USB3 Vision camera connected, which causes this issue during discover?

If you can open the Genie over the GEVTL and you can configure it, but no image is returned during acquisition you should check if something is blocking the image stream. e.g. this could happen if the camera sends Jumbo frames but the NIC or Switch has no activated Jumbo frames.

The firewall could also block the data. So if you have an active firewall check the settings and add a rule for the GenICamBrowser.

Please also check if both the Filter driver and the Socket Driver do not work.
