As you are probably aware, all GenICam compliant devices (served through GEV, U3V or a Transport Layer) are handled by the core package of 
(CameraSuite / Image Manager) directly.
There are, however, a few devices that can be access through legacy drivers (*.vin) that may be installed on top of an existing installation (the version of is generally not important as these drivers use interfaces that usually remain stable across different releases of , but it is important to make sure that the architecture of the driver matches the architecture of the installation).

Note that for the Windows platform, typically only Windows 10 is actively supported.
