I have an issue at a customer site about CVB USB codemeter dongle.
Configuration
Often, CVB doens not see the dongle.
The service codemeter is stopped. I restart it and it have a few minutes later the same issue.
I have this log for codemeter:
Is it a know issue ?
If yes how to solve it?

Some other users have reported similar issues after installing the latest Windows 11 update as that appears to have broken compatibility with the Codemeter runtime 7.21.

Installing a newer Codemeter runtime 8.30 fixes this issue. They can be found here https://www.wibu.com/support/user/user-software.html
We are in contact with Wibu about this issues and looking at solutions.

Hi Mikael,
We have been in contact with Codemeter and they confirmed that this is a known issue and caused due to a regression in a recent Windows kernel update for 24H2 that affects the Codemeter 7.XX versions.
This regression has been fixed by Microsoft in update KB5055627 (OS Build 26100.3915).
If you have this update installed, the Codemeter Runtime 7.21a will work again.
