# Start with GenIcam : can not snap/grap, black screen, problem of timeout

Hello  
We recently acquired a Prosilica-GT camera (GIGE on Ethernet)  
No problem to see it in GenICam browser  
But when we try to grap or snap, we have just a black screen and after 60 sec, a timeout error (cfr below)  
I tried to set the packet timeout of datastream port 0 to 0  
I have also tried different modes for trigger  
I am not sure about the right combinations of options to have at least one image  
Would you have a tip or direction where to look ?  
The camera seems OK as I move it to a light source, the exposure time changes but no images, only black screen

Not fixed with Genicam but I can capture images with Vimba after fixing ip address issue
