# Installing CVB in Docker

Is this working for anyone? We are unable to run cvb in docker without a watermark in v14.00.002

@kcarlso3,

Currently, we can’t guarantee a working setup of CVB in a docker container due to limitations of the licensing. The only stable setup, at the moment, is using a native installation without a docker container.

Ok, thanks! That was my understanding. We have been able to run a .NET service and a working license in docker while having the support services running on the host system.

Can you install the license/codemeter on the native host and the CVB-lib (and the application) in the Docker?

I heard of a way to use a codemeter server separately, but we never tried it.
