For me it is not clear what exactly is meant by deinterleaving (do you mean meta data from pixel data?) and how to tile (horizontally and/or vertically, combined?).
With 
we aim to make your life easier for acquisition (the Linea is a very special case 
) and provide some basics and have some nice vertical solutions. We will not have the coverage what OpenCV will give you. Thus we do not have a MergeMertens algorithm. But our aim is also to play nice with these libraries. For example if you search for OpenCV you can get some hint on how to use both like here:
