We have around 200 employees working at our headquarters in Puchheim near Munich. They are essential to our success. You too can become a part of it as an

Embedded Developer (all genders) (Machine Vision / Industry 4.0)

full-time and permanent.

These tasks await you:

  • You are looking for a challenge: You understand the requirements of demanding project customers as well as internal product owners exactly and present convincing solutions thanks to your competence and creativity. Based on common embedded platforms and Linux (usually Debian derivatives) you implement these solutions and where necessary you install and configure additional hardware components.

  • You will also be happy to contribute your embedded experience and skills to the further development of our own software product Common Vision Blox (CVB).

  • You like to work analytically and evaluate technical criteria and the usability of embedded products from our suppliers.

  • You are a true team player and are available to help and advise colleagues from sales and technical support on questions relating to Linux and embedded systems.

This distinguishes you:

  • After your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, you have gained at least two years of experience in software development with C++.

  • You are familiar with developing platform-independent software and the necessary tools and toolchains (e.g. Python, CMake, GCC, GDB).

  • Ideally, you are familiar with software development in modern C++ (C++ 11 and higher) as well as with creating C interfaces and can combine these two worlds.

  • You are also adept at working with Linux-based embedded systems (Jetson, Xavier and the like).

  • Do you perhaps even have knowledge in designing embedded systems or experience in programming with CUDA?

This is what we offer:

  • A responsible, multi-faceted job in a committed and motivated team

  • Work with an up-to-date tech stack (git, modern C++, Jira, Jenkins, Teams)

  • Constructive cooperation with short decision-making processes

  • Individual opportunities for further training

  • An attractive salary with a working time of 39 hours per week and 30 vacation days per year

  • Free fruit, salad, coffee, tea

  • In-house canteen

  • Very good connections to the Munich S-Bahn as well as free company parking directly on the premises
